I have the head off of my 2.3L and I measured the combustion chamber and it was around 55ish cc is that right? and as it seems that the exhaust valve/valve seat on the third cylinder is toast, so I measured the turbo head combustion chamber and it came out as 75ish cc since I have to swap heads how much power/mileage am I going to lose?

what is the size of a normal combustion chamber for the 2.0/2.3?

I'm definitely going to have the other head gone through by a shop but until i get the cash, low and slow is the way i go. :bawling:

thanks

Well after working with the n/a head most of last night we seemed to get the valve seat looking good I just might be able to use the high compression head! :yahoo:
the head has 57cc chambers, and we might use the turbo heads exhaust valves on the n/a head, would there be any problems doing that?

thanks for your help.

i wouldn't think no problems..

but if I were you I'd prolly keep those valves for use with the turbo head..and just get another valve..10+$ or so...if you or someone else uses that head..he'll/you'll want the turbo valves then...(if they are really still the special valves)...

just an opinion....best wishes

Well the n/a head is going into my daily driver and i plan to rebuild the turbo motor I have to go into my little ranger, so it'll get all new valves and the old n/a valves are no good so if I sell the turbo motor it won't have any exhaust valves
