2.3 to 2.8 Help

I have a 83 ranger with the 2.3 its so doggy it barley goes up hills i have a rebuit 2.8 will it fit? need other parts?
 
Tranny bellhousing... Past that I can't quite think of what you'd need.
 
it should fit/ work. check out the 'engine swap' forum to see if its been done...
