You can pick up something that will do the same, but it's still dangerous. At least with it, you wont randomly set small children on fire as your driving down the street. The guy that fixed my truck has one on his jeepster, shoots flame about two feet. It's a show only truck. This is from some random car on google with the flame thrower kit.

Don't ruin your truck and put people at risk. That's idiotic. If you absolutely want to have flames, do it the RIGHT way.

i have a 73 f100 with a compleat dead miss and if you tack it up -well with the glass pack- it would spit flames for a few sec.

well what i am saying is that i had a camaro that i had cut the cats out of and ran stright pipes to the back where i had mufflers and the thing shot flames out the back. it was usually when slowing down and it was because there was not enough back pressusre and was not burning the fuel the way it was supposed to i put cats on it to keep from getting anymore tickets and it helped because the cats gave it tha back pressure it needed

it shot flames after you removed the cats because the engine was running rich for whatever reason. with cats in place, the excess hydrocarbons are burnt off there. without them, the raw fuel in the pipes is just waiting for a spark to ignite it (such as that from advanced timing on deceleration).

a properly tuned engine wont shoot flames without the cat. there is another issue.
