1st Gen Sub Help?

So i bought 2 8"s today and a xplod 800w amp for REALLLY cheap
And started looking in spots to put em... Jeeezzzzusss i cnt make my mind up

If i should put them unde the seat? behind the seat? in the middle between my buckets? i can figure it out

I have my wood ready to go.. please let me know

i would do behind the seats if you have the room for the box configuration. try to mount your amp somewhere where it will get good air flow and be out of harms way. if you research box designs and configs., you can see there is more ways then one to build a box and run your subs, which can both save room and improve sounds quality. since your tight on space, i would suggest running the subs facing each other and out of phase from them selves. that way you are using your subs as one and gives bigger/better sound. hope that helps. do your homework and good luck.

Yea i was thinkin that too but i mean its tight... never had something with so little room hahah... i found a dimension for a wedge box at soundelectronix.com im thinking of using

Plus whats best for 8" subs in wedge boxes i want as much bass as i can achieve...

Should i seal em, port em, stuff em? thanks guys

them being 8''s id put em in a sealed box with polyfill in it.

Yeah, I put a cvt ten shallow mount on mine behind the seat. Can't wait to put in another one.Oh yeah and the seat is only one click from being all the way back. post pics if they ask me too.

Ok i finished them up! please click my build thread to see my setup

they are in the front page... they sound really good for 8s... but are there any tricks to make them louder... they are currently both sealed!
