1st gen rangers?

2nd gen with a 4.0, M5OD, D35 and 8.8 from the factory has quite a few advantages over a first gen.

But looks ain't one of them... IMO :censored:

What about a 1st gen with 4.0, M5OD, D35 and 8.8 from my garage?

Mine has all that and another liter... didn’t come that way tho.

I'm biased having a second gen for 20 years, but I think the second gen looks better (and have a '97 F350 that just looks like a giant version)... kinda want to get a '89-92 super cab 4x2 and build it for gas mileage as a daily driver... but am opening up to a third gen but want TIB...

Did you say "4×2"? :shok:

yes I did, hard to get fuel mileage in a 4x4 RBV, I drive 20k miles a year or more and 16ish mpg in the sploder is expensive... a 2wd Ranger 4 cylinder manual with skinny tires and low to the ground should get 25mpg... I'm changing some as I age. If the Geo Tracker I've been putting off fixing for a while doesn't hold together or work how I want I'll need something else for fuel mileage, and I'm not sure I want to give up and get a hooptie sedan yet...
