1999 ranger manual hubs?

can my auto hubs be turned into manual hubs? I know on the plastic hubs there are sever clips that hold the hub onto the axle which have gotten broke so i figure instead of spending a bunch of mone on those i could just use manual hubs id availabel

You can get AVM hubs i believe. Im still waiting on some money before i get mine for my 98.
