1998 Ranger 3.0 Radiator 3 row?

There is to my knowledge no improved aftermarket water pump (or much of anything really) for the 3.0. I'd be curious where you found one.

Is there anything that separates that radiator from the cheaper 3-row all-aluminum aftermarket radiators you can buy on eBay? Because it looks to me like someone's charging you $30-50 for the fact that they bothered to set up a storefront and some branding for their white box import auto parts.

check the fan clutch first, and get the system flushed.
pull the block drain plugs, get some of the rust out.
a 3.0 doesn't generate enough heat to cause problems if the system is functioning properly.
a bigger radiator won't help if the system is gunked up.
do you have problems under 35? or over 35? or both?

I bought one for my 97. Not from that source tho. Its been in the truck for 3 years & is great. I ordered the wrong one from another vendor Thats for a 98+ that i still have. Its got some bent fins but has never been used. It was listed as fitting 94-01 but it does not. Its for 98+. They wouldn't take it back because i "installed" it. I will make a good deal on it if you want it.

What doesn't fit when trying to drop a 98+ radiator into a 97? Bottom mounts on the core support not low enough?

No just bought a high volume pump off rockauto and forms suggested a 3 row radiator to add more cooling to water volume.

Is it a 3 row and can you show it pressure tested?
