1998 Ranger 3.0 leaking coolant

Hi all, first post. I tried searching articles/forum but couldn’t find anything. On my 3.0, on top of the intake there are two little tubes that send coolant to/from the intake. I’m not sure what they are called. My guess is they are to warm the fuel when cold and keep it and possibly the air a more stable temperature during operation. One of those little tubes developed a leak right in the bend. Can I just bypass those tubes? For now I slid the hose on further to cover the hole but I am afraid it may not hold long term. I will try to add a picture.

That's a preheater for throttle body to prevent moisture in the outside air from freezing(ice crystals) inside throttle body in VERY cold locations

Its just an IN/OUT doesn't need to be capped, has no connection to other parts of cooling system

Yes, you can eliminate it, most replace the plastic "T"s with straight metal couplers, the plastic "T"s were a common leak point

Thanks RonD for the welcome and the fast response. All those plastic Ts on the coolant/heater hoses seem like they would be a risk for sure. I will keep the straight coupler option in mind for the heater hoses.
