My truck work hard today. I had to pull this bronco out of the bush. I am getting the front diff. High Pinion Dana 44. My truck is not going in 4Lo so did it all in 4Hi.
It was very helpful. I also installed some Alpine Type S 6.5 two way speakers. I also pick up a topper for my truck for $50. Not a bad deal. First of many changes.
Pick up a Warn winch from my buddy's dad. Just need to make mounts for it.
Going to take it apart to clean it, grease and paint. Make it look like new again. Winter is starting to get here. Its time to start collecting parts and planing my spring time work for next year wheeling. I am hoping to do gears, not sure if 4.56 or 4.88. Put a mini spool in the rear. All bearings in the front end, seals, spindles, U-joints. Want little more lift in the front F-150 coils or 1.5 lift coils with spacers for little more. Some minor engine mods. If I can afford it tranny rebuild also.
I started painting parts on my truck red. I love black and red. So this truck is going black and red like my old 78 f-150 was.
I can use the shop at work sometimes. So this winter I want to do some needed body work. Change front fenders, find a good box and clean it up a little. Thinking of using front fender and box from 99+ Mazda but keep my front end. I picked up some winter tires on stock Mazda wheels for it. Wont be driving it to much because I am going to use my DD, 2006 Pontiac Wave.
Did some work to my truck. Made a panel to hold my switches. Needs a little fine tuning.
I have been having battery problems. So put my battery on charge and notice the terminals were losses. So I went to tighten the clamps and this happen. So I replace them
Got a air filter kit for my birthday so installed that. I could not leave it aluminum so I painted it red .
All that red make it look really dirty in there. I think it needs some mud that will make it look good.
I also change the diff fluid in the rear axle. It was dirty and a little milky. Painted the cover red at the same time. Now I have to do the front, the oil is just as bad.
