Well my truck is payed for now. So Friday I am going to pick it up. First step will be getting a safety and on the road. Then get it ready for winter. See how things go.

Looks good, but what's the uh wire? hanging down from the bumper

My guess is a block heater based on his location. Glad I don't live somewhere I need one of them.

Yup it's the block heater cord. We do really need it up here. lol

Well truck needs $125 in parts to get safety. Wheel bearing, rear shoes, pins and bushings in driver door and a bracket for the rear quarter panel. I am doing all the work so save on labour. :-)

I was looking at the box to see how I can make the bracket I need. The box is in bad shape. So if anyone has crawlers Rc's here. I was thinking of making a truggy style back for it. Something like the Axial Honcho.

Well did some work. Break shoes and spring kit are in. Grease u-joints on rear drive shave. Started the front wheel bearing today. What a mess in there. Bearing grease looked like mud. Inner bearing fell apart. The tonington bearing nothing left to it. So changing that also. So a few more parts :-( Then just pins and bushings for the door. Then I get my safety :-)

Welcome to TRS.

Have you checked the condition of your spring hangers and your hard brake lines? They use lotsa salt way up there in Tim. The rubber fuel filler pipe also tends to crack & leak.

Everything else is ok for safety. Over the winter its going to get a good over haul.

Past safety and on the road. Now the fun part starts. Modification and well needed maintenance. Where to start??

You gonna lift it? What kind you thinking?

For now it's going to get f150 coils to lift it a inch or two more for now. But I want to do a 5.5 skyjacker kit with 64" rear leafs.

Nice i was going to do the f150 then i decided to start piecing my own together. thats where i am at right now.

My truck is a little heavier. I am putting on a tube bumper and winch. That will add some more weight also. See how it rides and go from there.

Did a little work to the truck. Now that is on the road. I can move to things I want to do. I installed my dvd player Alpine IVA-310. I also install my Sirius radio.

I installed my 6" yellow spot lights. I have 55watt bulbs in them right now.
