I have a 1996 Ford Ranger 2.3L 5-speed. I put an aftermarket tach in it and i am wondering what the stock redline would be at.

i think it is around 5,000 rpm, hey i am going to do the same thing eventually, how does it wire up to the spark plugs?

There is a yellow and tan wire that is coming out of the PCM (computer). It is for a tach. you splice into that one. Then you draw 12V power from the ignition and ground it. Ill post a picture of mine tomorrow. This is for 1996. Im not sure how to do it on other models.
