I've never seen a Ranger with a rear window defroster...but you can actually buy them...or they were available...just a matter of tearing up the interior a bit to wire it into the switch and fuse panel...
My rear window is usually defrosted pretty quick once the truck warms up...and I have an extended cab...but I do tend to scrape the outside before I try driving anywhere...it's the inside that fogs up if I'm sweating and it would be nice to be able to clear that faster...but not worth the effort to me to install one...especially since they are stick ons and it makes cleaning the window a pita...
