1995 ranger splash need motor help

can anyone help me

my truck from the day I bought it runs funny . It shakes at random speeds and if you hold it to the floor it takes a little while to kick in . The idle is funny and sounds kinda like a skip . Theres 1 code on for running lean in bank 1 .

here is what ive tryed already

mass air flow sensor
plugs,wires
coil pack
throttle position sensor
egr control box
air filter
ive tested my idle control box to .


does anyone think the fuel filter or the speed sensor in the tranny will do this!.
or air temp sensor !
any other ideas

the truck has 105,000 miles and has had regular oil changes and has been well taken care of

also anyone with a 1995 can you send me a pic of your air cleaner assemble

because where my mass air flow meter is in the pipe there looks like there is a spot for a sensor .. there are 2 holes in the intake the size of the air temp sensor ,ones near the throttle body and one near the mass air flow .

help me im going through gas like crazy

Are you saying that your intake tube has two holes in it, with nothing installed? One should be the IAT, the other should be the PCV tube (near the TB). If you have empty holes, that makes a MASSIVE unmetered air leak and it will run crappy.
