1995 3.0 Ranger with D35/D28 HyBrid swap to Gen 1 Exploder D35 Question..

I have a Hybrid D35 I want a True D35.. Can I just put a D35
from a 1994 and Older D35 in??? Will I have to swap alot of
Stuff over or will it jus Bolt Right In??? I know some1 has to
have done this Swap... I also want to do a 8.8 Disc Swap..

Could I take the Center Section out of a Gen 2 D35 out, n
Put the Gears into the Gen 1 D35??? Both Reverse Cut, Right??

All you need to make your hybrid a true D35 is to swap the aluminum center section and both inner axle shafts, the rest is all the same.
 
Yep, just grab the centersection and inner shafts from any 90-97 Ranger, 89-90 BII or 91-94 Explorer.

Remeber a smooth centersection = hybrid and a ribbed centersection=true D35.
 
1990 Bronco2's with a production date of 11-89 and earlier all have a D28,
those later all have a D35.

You may have to shorten your front driveshaft as well. I did the swap and had to cut 1.5" off of the front driveshaft.
 
How do I swap the gears on my 1995 Ranger???
Since I cant just pop off a plate... Do I have to
REMOVE Everything??? Or just undo Diff Bolts, n
Remove U-Joints/Axle Shafts???

Would a True D35 bolt right up to the Hybrid D35 Mounts n everything??
Since the Guts r the only Difference.....

Inner n Outter Axle Shaft U-Joint... HELP Me... Please

To remove the 3rd Member, do I have to Drop the TTBs/Axle Arms???
Can I unbolt the Housing/3rd Member from the Left Arm n Take out
the U-Joints?? I dont See a SnapRing.. Looks Welded or Pressed in..

How Do I Disconnet the Inner n Outter Shafts??? Welded U-Joints?

Please Deal with me here... Have TRS Tech Lib Pic/Link Below..

On my truck the Front Right/Left Inner Axle Shafts Where the U Joint
Is it doesnt look like it will Come Apart... What do I do here?? It Rusty??

You don't HAVE to drop the beam but it's my preferred method.
You only need to drop the driver side beam. To pull the shafts out you need to removed the rotors and spindles. The inner shaft on the passenger side is held into the diff with an e-clip. The u joints have internal snap rings around the base of the caps.

My Pass side Outer Shaft is Missin So I dont have to worry about that..
What about the Drivers Side?? How does that Inner Shaft come out,
jus pull it out?? Also, Will a True D35 Bolt right up to where my Hybrid
D35 unbolted from?? Somewhere I read that some things have to be
Changed/Swaped/Drilled.. Whats the Case with that??? UnBolt n Bolt?
