I have a 1994 ford ranger. I replaced the rear abs hydraulic valve the other day. I have it up on the jack stands and put it in gear to test the brakes. the brakes worked for the first few minutes, then the new hydraulic unit failed. It appears one of the pistons blew out. My question is, did I do something wrong, or just get a bad replacement part?
