1994 ranger 2.3l injector power

Recently, my ranger stuttered and quit on cylinders 1 and 4. I checked the injectors with a noid light and found that the injectors on 1 and 4 cylinders weren't getting power during operation. It has plenty of spark on all cylinders. I replaced the PCM but still the same.
Any ideas why both 1 and 4 went at the same time and what the problem may be before I split the wiring harness and start tracing?
