I have a 1994 Ford Ranger XL 3.0L automatic and I was driving to the store and it stalled on me when I was turning onto a street. I put it in park and started it back up and drove to the next street to turn and it stalled on me again but this time, it didn’t start back up. It turned the key to try and start it and it would just crank with no sign of catching. Had it towed home and I tried to start it again, and it fired right up! My neighbor was messing with it and it stalled when he was wiggling the ignition so he thinks the ignition switch is bad. Where is the ignition switch on those trucks? I pulled off the steering column shroud and I only saw the lock cylinder and the turn signal switch. Please help!

You shouldn't have to unbolt the steering column. The switch is located near the lower end of the steering column, on the top side of it. The lock cylinder pushes a long rod that actuated the switch. Might just be a loose connector.
