When I go into overdrive, the truck seems like it looses power and starts to stutter at 55mph.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sounds like a engine miss-fire. The engine is under a lot of load at lower rpms in overdrive. You might find a steep hill and see if it does in in other gears as well. New sparkplugs may be something to try first.

Thank you. I did buy new plugs and wires since I am already replacing gaskets and a few other things. I thought that would be a good time to do that. I will let you know how that goes once I put everything back together. Hoping it starts after taking it apart. Hahaha

The overdrive problem has been fixed. I did change plugs and wires
