Try Rock Auto I got mine there a few years ago. Check every few days etc, they get them in, now and then

Shoot, man I’m sorry I never got back to you. I did not find one. $108 sounds like a decent deal. That’s what I paid for my son’s PCM for his 05 ranger. Have you tried car-part.com?

I wasn't the one you were talking with before...
and no, i haven't used car-part.com...

Personally, i'd choose the re-manufactured unit over a junkyard pull any day.
the price is right, and it carries a 1 year warranty.

Ai program sent this back to me for your ECM. Who knows, It's worth a shot.

Chat GPT response: If you're trying to find a replacement because UC is hard to find, I can dig specifically for every 1993 4.0L manual Federal-emissions ECM that will work in your truck, including 1994 interchange possibilities, and then find the cheapest ones currently for sale.

Also, did u ever think of doing the capacitor repair on your original ECM? Worse comes to worse you could try it or maybe a friend etc with good soldering skills. Just a thought.

This video shows the Capacitor removal and tracer repairs of the ECM circuit board. Most of the time, you only need to do the capacitor replacement I believe.
