1992 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 4x4 $399

Marketplace - 1992 Ford Ranger Super Cab · Custom | Facebook

This Ranger is in Princeton, Texas which is 2-hours east of me.

This would be a good donor to replace the cab on @bobbywalter rig. It's $800 and the body, bed and frame look pretty solid. Plus, it has a D35 and an 8.8-inch rear with disk brakes that have value to them. He could get a few hundred bucks back selling the axles. Doors have power windows and locks.

This Ranger could become this Ranger (but with a diesel):

That's a steal. I wished it was closer. I need to get Randy in a Ranger haha. He finally sold the F150. So now to convince him a TTB Ranger is what he needs haha

Bobby has been looking for a cab for as long as I've known him. Solid Gen I & II cabs are getting hard to find. I could probably grab it for him and hang onto it until we could meet up.

The cab on his Ranger has sentimental value I think. I don't know if he'd replace ot if he had a solid cab haha

He said he would if he could find one for a few hundred. I'm going to Ohio in April, so....

But he can't paint it pink. The last woman I dated saw our pics from Kentucky and when she got to his truck she told me she liked the pink truck. I told her it was faded red.

My old 88 was red and white. The red always looked pink unless I waxed it.

wish stuff like this would pop up in ohio, Hard to find anything here for under 1,000 and thats 2wd/2.3’s . rust free? try rust FOR free. You try to judge potential frame rust by the degree of rear wheel well opening rust. Shame to cut up a nice truck like that but its not like gen 1 & 2 trucks are plentiful anymore. The 3’s are still there, for now.

This is the nice thing about moving from Ohio to Texas. I rarely see rust here. If I do, it's just a little 'patina' where the paint has worn off of old cars. They're all solid though. If I had money to burn, this truck would become TRS-4.

I think that's the first time I've seen a 89-92 with power windows. Somebody used the order sheet. Wonder what the gear ratio is...

3.73 was used quite a bit in that era with 2wd supercabs & 2.3 longbed 2wds.

The first truck listed here has dropped to $399. This person is really desperate to get rid of this thing. I'm starting to get tempted just for spare axles.

I really need a 3/4 ton & car hauler
Wish deals like that could be found around here. At least lately ‘87-‘91 series F150’s are in the 1500-2000 range. Did a half-ton ever get a creeper 1st/5th OD manual?
