Good afternoon. I have a missing fastener that appears to have been a rivet. It is located close in toward the window crank handle shaft. ~1/4" I made the assumption that it as a rivet, though I could be wrong.
I have searched, but I'm not finding it. Lot's of stuff about power windows on Youtube.

When I wiggle the regulator around, I find a hole where it would fasten to this Bolt, or Rivet. I can't see how I might install a nut behind where it needs to go, and the metal behind doesn't appear to be threaded.

What is the correct way to get this locked down? There isn't much room behind for the rotating part of the Regulator gear mechanism. A blind rivet won't go in there. Maybe a 1/4", possibly less. The depth micrometer in my eyes isn't great.

I went in to replace the window sweeps, and discovered, while trying to move the window that the regulator had been held stationary by the door card. Not ideal.

Help?

If it had a nut, this would be fastened or welded to the silver crank piece correct?

According to this link it looks like they did originally use a rivet.
