Located in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, between Salem and Eugene. $5800 or best offer
1989 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with M5OD-R1 manual transmission, 2.9L V6, ~197700 miles. Smittybilt XL rooftop tent (can sell separately if not wanted)
Runs, drives, shifts. 6-inch lift (was told Skyjacker when I bought the truck). New rear brakes. Light bar and extra rear lights. The frame/underneath is in solid shape. Interior is in decent shape, clean comfortable seats (not original, I think they’re out of a ford explorer. Have covers on to keep them nice after I went to town on cleaning them), missing one of the extended cab seats (assuming that it originally came with two). Clear coat fading in spots
Known issues: Driver side seatbelt doesn't retract, tie rods should be replaced soon (new inner, outer, and adjusters come with sale + other miscellaneous parts, negotiate me down while I’m still too lazy to fix), speedometer seems to only work at higher speeds, no stereo, no AC compressor, oil seep from somewhere (level hasn't dropped since last oil change), rear abs light on.
Wiring in engine bay is a little confusing, haven’t messed with it since acquiring the truck.
Selling/trading cause my girlfriend won’t ride in a truck/car without airbags & more modern safety features, and I wanna adventure with her. Thanks to all the contributors on these forums, has helped me a lot with diagnosing and fixing things (despite the above list, I have been improving things I promise). Let me know if I’m way off base from a fair price. Have a video of a cold start but haven’t figured out if I can post it here
