1987 Dodge Ram D-250 4x4 front Differential

Hi, I am having trouble getting my gears out of my 1987 dodge ram 4x4 with a dana spicer 44(front).......I have the caps off, the pinion nut off and the axils out. I cant seem to get the ring and gears to move about an inch, is their a special tool I need? Any input would be greatly appreciated with BEER.....

big pry bar, and a friend to catch the parts. should come out. might need a case spreader to reinstall them tho...

You can put it back in with a dead blow hammer and a little work...

does anybody make a 6'' lift for a 08 dodge 1500 4x4?? im having trouble finding one. thanks
