If it was the 83-84 Perkins diesel Ranger in that condition your 5K asking price might be more reasonable, but frankly the 85-87 Mitsu diesel Rangers are less desirable, though they too have somewhat of a cult following, they bring less money than their earlier cousins, put it on ebay you'll get 3K easy.

are you kidding? i coulda picked one of those up for $200 down the road from my house (the rockers and body mounts were in pretty rough shape) but it went to the crusher cause nobody wanted it. too hard to find parts for. good luck getting 5700 lol

No joke, they pop up on ebay once or twice a month, the Perkins diesels can be rusty POS and they still bring 2K all day long on ebay.
