well forgot the cam when i went to the shop so no pics, but finally got an alt on it. im using an agricultural type ford one wire alt, that i had laying around. bolted right on and tons cheaper than a race one wire. also got a belt on it and mounted the rad and coolant hoses. all thats left under the hood is build a bracket for the coil, tie up some loose wiring, put the fans in and wire the lights. then its off to finishing the interior. pics up soon

finally got some pics

well thats a b@tch, ik the rad had a leak in it but we stuck it in to get the hoses fitted and to double check pulley clearances after it was mounted. so i pulled the rad and took it to the local rad shop. they called me yesterday and said they welded the leak and the next row started leaking, welded that one and the next one started and so on. as its a vintage 40's willys jeep rad, availability and cost is horrible. the options they gave me- we can recore it in the copper thats in it for $300-500, or luckily we got the same rad sitting here with different side rails on it. we'll put your rails on it for $150. so tomorrow morning im goin to pick this beast up and finally get this running with coolant in it.

no not lately ive been doin a lot of side work lately to get some bills paid- lol bad with money- girlfriend hates it that i buy truck parts before payin rent oh well, should be back on track with it soon

Any updates?

What high school did you go to? I went to Mosinee, and lived in the area until about 5 years ago. Looking to move back up there too. It'd be nice to get a central wi ranger group together...

hey everyone, sorry its been so long since ive updated anything on the truck, it pretty much sits as it did last time i posted. finally got the truck home and out out of my dads shop that is a half hr away from where i live, which is one of the reasons this went to the back burner. but now its home and i got plans to get it mostly finished by new years (fingers crossed) lol. but yea just wanted to let yea know that this wasnt scraped or forgotten about

dude.....would have went summit on the rad.....that might end up biting your ass.

the rad i got from a buddy of mine at a local radiator shop. its out of a cj5 and its a perfect fit. its been pressure tested and flow tested and only cost me $100

ok got the engine running again, and no i got a lifter tick from hell. thinking i got a bad lifter when i installed the new ones. also it sounds like a shittily piped v6, does it sound plausible that if i got a collapsed lifter that it could cause that? any and all comments welcome, thanks in advance
