Can I use any year shortblock and use an 85 head without changing anything or do I have to use the 85-88 eng I cant seem to find one of those Thanks for your help ahead of time Bill

you can use up to a 94.You'll have to make provision on a few years for a fuel pump.

Thank you I can get a 93 2.3 for $100.00 so it will save me and I can enjoy this project.
