Wondering if a 1984 Bronco II 2.8L V6 has enough power for a 4 inch lift with 31 10.50/15 tires.
 
It's been done. Gear ratio is the biggest factor. I'd say 4.10 minimum.
 
yeah, power isn't the issue, I think they're rated at like 110hp but the gear ratio on these things matter more, with your non overdrive C5 transmission you don't want to go too low, if you have 3.73 gears now you're probably fine but 3.45 wouldn't be ideal...
 
My Axle code is 44. I think that is the 3.73 gear ratio?
