searched this for threads and found none. the bearing in the upper column in my Ranger is "clunking" when turning. more noticeable when stopped or driving very slowly. i looked on LMC and didn't find any real shaft listed, just a bearing... is there a shaft with a bearing that needs to be replaced? can just the bearing be replaced? should i just find a whole different steering column to go in it?
mine is a 1983, 4x4, std. cab Ranger, power steering, floor shift manual tranny, non-tilt steering wheel.
any help would be GREATLY appreciated! thanks in advance. :icon_confused:
