i got a steering box for it the other day and put it on now im racking my brain tyring to figure out how to run the linkages and how to relocate the power steering pump so it'll clear the box.
i forget the actual wheelbase specs but yeah i had to add like 6 or 7 inches to the frame. an extended cab ranger has the right wheelbase but i didnt have one available to me to use so i had to cut and stretch the frame.
did some sanding on the hood today, realized its gonna need alot more work than i had figured on, im thinking that i need to learn how to work sheet metal.
found a drive shaft for her and patched the radiator now all i gotta do is get a new universal and get the right yoke for the tranny and it'll be on step closer.
awwwwwwww....it just looks nice in pitures.....the cab isn't lined yet....i still use a screwdriver to start the engine....got scratches in the bed.....wife broke the passengers window slammin the door....a/c don't have cold air any more...the bed has a little rust (must have bought a steel bed by mistake)
but it's a blast to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep workin on that steel contraption of yours...it's lookin betternbetter....
