18yrs old first project

C'mon, you pussy! I took out the rear window and axle from my parts truck in the cold! =P

haven't takin many pictures but ive still been slowly truckin away, the top sheet is ready to be sanded with 400 grit and more or less ready for paint, i laid a quick coat on to see how it was comin and ill sand it off to find anylow spots sometime tommorow, other than that just a couple little spots around the edges and the top peice will be ready for paint.

considering it was way to cold to paint and it literally dripped out of the half frozen can it looks pretty good to me. im getting excited now to grab a heater and go for the real thing

i also got one side more or less done, needs tough up in a few small spots but then this side will be ready for paint aswell, just one more side to go and i still need to make the arm rest install the gauges and it will be ready to go back in the truck!

awsome truck yo...

how much lift do you get from an axle flip? cause I only want like a 2 or 3 inch drop
would a shaclke flip be better for that amount of drop?

Nice, that console is lookin' good!

now to the serious stuff, i sprayed some primer on the console and turns out it wasnt even remotely smooth, that what i get for not using a sanding block:bawling:

so some more time sanding, with a block this time of course and it all came out smooth

my seat belt buckles were flopping all over the place and i didnt want them rubbing against the console and wrecking the paint so i found some new ones

i then picked up some fabric paint and went to work on the door panels, i can't decide if i like the beige and black color scheme for the inside or not, opinions?

I love that 2-tone door look. Definitly breaks up the tan color very nicely.

Everything else looks fantastic!!! Keep her up!!! :icon_thumby: :icon_thumby: :icon_thumby: :icon_thumby:
