18x9 Wheels on first/sec gen ranger.

Looking to get a busted 1983-1992 Ranger and i am planning my rebuild now. The truck will under-go a V8 Swap and be my car audio competition vehicle.

I am looking to get a set of these and wondering with the offset, if they will work or what i would need to make them work.

Yes mustang wheels will fit on a ranger only if its 2wd. (center hole too small to fit over center hub on 4x4)

not to hijack, but can you put mustang rims on a 4x4 if you drill the center to 2 inches or will that compromise the integrity of the wheel?

I would say yes definitely and I'll never be brave enough to try.

Ill be using a 2wd, i see no point in getting a 4x4 for what im doing.
