$10 home depot grille mod... for mazda!

its aluminum so it wont rust
gives a nice touch to the big grilles on mazdas and rangers
besides it helps to protect the radiator

a bird almost scored mine, the next day i went and did the grille mod.
i did mine with fiberglass btw

NICE!!! I never been a fan of Mazda grills but you improved it $500 percent with this mod

Here's mine a year later, and after two accidents. No rust and it hasn't fallen off yet. I used zip ties to hold it on. Eight dollars got me a 5 pack of the gutter guard. I only used two pieces. I was thinking about putting some on the front grill of the zx2 but it's so low to the ground, and I have a tendency of driving a few inches into snowbanks.

A moderator should add all of our photos to the tech library article. It would be nice to have more photos in there of what it looks like, or at least add the Mazda photos.

How did you do that license plate mod?

It was actually pretty easy. Go around a blind turn and smack a grand prix at 45. Make sure you total the shit out of them though, otherwise you might not get the right curve to the modified bumper.

I just bought that plate holder a few months before after a ditch ripped it off. Gotta watch out for those ditches, they're feisty little buggers.

Its really funny hearing anyone who gets in minor accidents the fords come out almost unscratched and the other cars are just jacked up...haha

yeah it happens
i had a contact with an isuzu and he almost ripped his whole front bumper
mine neded with a dent under the tail light which i fixed with a hammer and a wood piece lol

After looking at that picture a little closer, I noticed that I need new tires. The front ones are my good ones! One more thing to add to the list if I get my car off the road and the truck on. I'm thinking some 31" Super Swamper TSL Radials will do the trick.

i almost considered getting some tsl swampers but i didnt know if they are the best for commuting...how do they wear?
