1 pc Drive shaft swap ?

Ok so when you swap a one piece drive shaft in place of a two piece, where is the slip? When the axle goes up and down, wouldnt that change the distance from T-case to axle? Shorter and longer and shorter and longer. So in a one piece drive shaft how does it accommodate this action without just buckling?

there is a slip yoke in ALL driveshafts. The 4wd 1 piece driveshaft has the slip yoke in the shaft itself, about 8" from the transmission. The 2wd 1 piece driveshaft has the slip yoke in the transmission.
