I'd like to know if I need to change anything else on my 1997 ranger 4x4 like shock or something else by installing 1.5 inch higher coil spring?:hottubfun:

Yes. Your alignment, and probably alignment cams. As well as shock absorbers if they bottom at full droop.

Axle pivots and radius arm brackets are highly advisible as well, as 1.5 inches may or may not have correctible camber.

It really is a bad idea to get cheap on suspension.

Depends on how sacked your original springs are. At 1 1/2" you will likely need camber bushings. Caster could become an issue but I doubt it. Original camber bushings are usually non adjustable, replacements can be turned thru a range of motion that will allow both camber and caster adjustment. I wouldn't change pivot or radius brackets since that would require cutting out the factory rivets and replacing them with bolts that can work loose. Not worth it for only 1 1/2". I recommend finding someone very experienced with Ford I beam alignment and they should be able to get back to spec. I've done several with nothing other than bushings being necessary.
