post your 1/4 times and mods on truck to achieve that time.
Ive got a homemade CAI, e3 spark plugs, throttle body spacer, 2.5" flowmaster exhaust, throttle cable zipped, resistor in place of intake air temperature
A buddy just got an edge tuner for his 08 silverado and i just went off of that next to him and hit a high 19 second 1/4 mile thought that it would be need to see what other people have ran...on the sadly slow but tough 2.3

I don't have my time slips with me, but the 1995 Ranger I previously owned had a 2.3L 5 speed combo did something like 25 seconds in the 1/4 mile, but it was totally stock.

My timer doesn't go that high...:)

You did it just as a joke, right?

huh? As long as I get there in one day, all is good.

17.4 @ 77. '99 2.5 stock.

13.6 @ 108 mph. '90 2wd regular cab 5-spd with a turbocharged, intercooled 2.3 with a ported head being force-fed at 17 psi. Bigger injectors, a better tune, more boost, and traction bars w/ slicks would put it in the 11s, but it's already quite a blast driving around the way it is.

for seriousness i was going to actually go to the drag strip and run for sh*ts and giggles but my friend with his edge was a free run...i wish that there were more programers out for the 2.3 like the edge because of the amount of power and torque that my friend got out of it having a 15.4 1/4 and a stock 8.3 0-60 to a 6.9 im jealous i want a little programmer in my truck to gain as much as he did not a little 10 hp or something

try sctflash.com and look for an xcal tuner for your 2.3, or talk to the guy at rogueperformance.com and see what he can hook u up w/ since yours is obd2. my 92 2.3 m50d on the hwy (i have a place where 1/4 mile is marked and i have a stopwatch) runs 19 seconds at 68mph, crappy but i make it. the mods are: homemade HAI and custom exhaust (bought trk used catless w/ a plugged muffler, i have two fart cans inline that dump under the cab, idk the actual mileage as it shows 62k, 5 digit odometer. id made the hot air intake on my since i had a conical filter laying around and the silencer tube was cracked causing a leak, ill be going back to the stock airbox when i get some more money as i was faster w/ the stock airbox. the exhaust im going back w/ a cat and high flow muffler. the resistor in the IAT richens you a hair so you may see some improvement w/ it but not much, more of a plug fowling deal than anything, and your throttlebody spacer adds a whistle to our intake and actually restricts airflow slowing you down, 3 or 4 of my buddies had them and were faster w/o them. fig i would help you out but this is my experience w/ my old beatup trk.
