08 3.0 V6 Ranger EGR question

I have an 08 Ranger 3L V6. On the engine, I have an EGR valve solenoid but when looking for a replacement part, everything says that the 3.0L model shouldn’t have one.

Has anyone else come accross this, I need to replace the part since the mounting bracket broke off and it melted a little bit. Just want to make sure it could be out on the 3L before buying it.

They show it in the diagram, but I can't seem to find it for sale either.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I was able to find the part when filtering for the 4.0L and in previous years of the 3.0L.

The specific part has PP-GF30 written on it.


For some reason it just isn’t listed for the 2008.
