Does anyone know what trucks were in the Four Wheeler 2006 Top Truck Challenge?

Thanks in ADVANCE!

Yo,
Dude, that is so weird. I found every year's info except 2006.

FWIW, here is the link for 07' TTC. http://www.fourwheeler.com/eventcoverage/toptruckchallenge2007/129_0704_2007_ttc_competitors/index.html

edit: I found it, that took quite a bit of searching. Here is the link of all the trucks nominated.

Unfortunatley, it wont list for me all the trucks that made it. So here are the individual links.

I'll dig through my past issues. I've saved every one for years.

Only issue all year worth a damn. :) Stopped buying that 'bolt-on' mag years ago...used to subscribe and got tired of all the repeats and then Top Truck turned into most expensive truck on 20' tall boggers...LOL....nothing like a wheeler that an average shade tree mechanic might build.

sick of magazines

i have just let all my subscriptions run out, im sick of seeing new trucks!!!! i cant afford a 50,000 dollar truck, and if i could, i sure as hell wouldnt be taking it anywhere where i might break or damage it!!!! diesel power is horrible, i remember one of their first issues it had a build-up of a 6.2, i subscribed because i was hoping for a 6.9 buildup, i have not seen it yet!!! im sick of articles about bolt on lifts, bolt on bumpers, new trucks, programmers and duramax and powerstroke articles...i should start my own magazine, only way a truck would get in the mag would be if it is homebuilt and old enough to have collector plates!

I find it interesting that pretty much all the mags have gone the Superduty/Duramax all the time route. These mags are all based in California and spend half their pages on diesel mods. NO DIESEL MODS are legal in Cal. Everyone that installs a Bullydog or the like is liable for a massive fine and the CARB and Highway Patrol are planning to start heavy enforcement. The mags are doing a great disservice to their readers when they don't pass this info on to the readers. I don't buy any of them anymore unless they have a very good tech article or something similar.

Yeah, Crawl is a pretty good mag.

The deal with four wheeler, and simmilar mags, is they produce the content that the most people ask for. Yes, there are alot of us that will make something work just for the fun of it instead of just buying off the shelf mods, but there are many more people who have daily drivers and weekend warriors that they want to look tuff enough, be capable enough, and can't / don't want to, spend more than a saturday working on it. (If they do it themselves at all)

All in all, I just remember that Four Wheeler is still running a business, I'm just thankfull that they're helping to keep off-roading popular, and profitable for manufacturers. Which will mean lower prices and more choices for everybody.
