looke an could not find coils for a 2002 ranger?...just want to add maybe 2inchs. any help would be awsome maybe i i not look hard enought.
 
2 inchs nah... 4 maybe...
 
Shocks are always a very good idea, but not required. Longer shocks will give you more down travel whereas the stock shock will bottom out. If you are doing any sort of offroading, get longer shocks. If it's street use, you should be fine. In any case though, I'd still recommend getting longer shocks. It will save you from headaches later.
