02 edge questions

I was wondering if any other year ranger side mirrors would work on my 02 ford ranger edge step side? I'm looking to put the squarer mirrors on. Thanks in advance.

Im looking at the 06 mirrors. just curious if they will fit on my truck

I've read that 93 to 05 non- power mirrors will interchange and 06 and up will interchange with "minor modification", what that is I don't know...

I think it's drilling a hole for a tab or something like that. I had a buddy put some 06's on his 02. He liked the 2 tone black and white look the the newer ones have. He is not too handy and did it by himself, so it cant be that bad.

There is a You Tube video on this from a California Edge owner. It involves grinding or cutting down the new mirrors mounting areas so that the new mirror sits flush against the body.
