'02 cabin filter?

I thought that Rangers didn't have cabin filters...
but searching revealed Motorcraft part "MIFP18"

Nope, no cabin air filters in the Rangers. Freestar's, Taurus', and some Escapes.

Yes it DOES have a cabine filter.

Maybe I should work at AutoZone....

I'd like to see if a Hayne's manual mentions anything about a cabin filter. According to that website, it only fits 1998-2003 Rangers. It says that my 2006 doesn't have a cabin filter whatsoever

I don't know if you are implying that I work at autozone or something....

But, I can tell you as a Ford trained technician that I have never seen a cabin air filter in a Ranger

In my opinion I think all vehicles should have a cabin air filter.

Driving my '84 down a well traveled dusty road behind somone during a drought in the summer, you can see the dust coming out of the vents, nice!

I agree with that, I hate how much dust comes in when driving on dusty roads and such.
