straight pipe

Hey guys, new to the forum here. I got a 83 ranger 2.8l v6,5spd. My catalytic is bad and I was wondering what it would take to straight pipe it. I can't find what to replace it with.

hi, i was considering removing my muffler and replacing it with piping of the same length and a turndown under the bed, in hopes of getting better sound. would this this kill my gas mileage? will this new exhaust set-up (less bends) make my truck run different because of less back pressure...
