AC blowing hot as summer begins rearing its ugly head. I had a local mechanic vacuum out the refrigerant (r134a) so I could investigate, and I discovered the black death had struck. I will be replacing everything I need to but I have one concern: The mechanic said it will be fine...
So my 2000 Ranger's AC has had issues for a while now. Around Christmas it was making a noise in the cabin like there was an obstruction, but I never seemed to have time to check it and just let it go. The noise went away, but then it stopped cooling like it had been. I let it go for awhile...
