I recently put a 8.8” axle from an explorer into my 1998 ford ranger 4WD, it had 10 inch drums before, now it has the explorer rear disk brakes. got the explorer brake line to connect into the rangers line, all seemed well. Until I road tested it, the pedal is very soft until the last 25% or so...
Im new to the forums Im looking at buying a complete 98 explorer 4.10 8.8 rear axle rotor to rotor tomorrow and need some insight on converting my ranger axle to the explorer brakes.
My axle is a Limited Slip 8.8 4.10
the explorer is the same.
hey guys I'm thinking about doing a disc conversion on my ranger and I've heard rumors that the brackets and calipers on a Lincoln town car fit a 9in. Have you done this? What's your opinion?
