Hey folks, I have a '94 Mazda B4000. 230k miles.
Here's what's happening. I think 2 or 3 cylinders aren't firing at times. Started yesterday. I drove it out the driveway, then it kept stalling, wouldn't start unless I gave it gas. When it did start, it would be smooth for maybe 10 seconds...
I swapped a 4.0 from a 92 explorer into my 90 bronco 2.
when i started it for the first time it was extreemly hard to start and smoked ALOT of white. i decided to take the heads off and see whats going on, i found a burnt exhausr valve in one cylider and tan colored cylinder walls in another...
ok well i just bought an 86 ranger for $550.00. it runs but not very well. I did a compression check (engine wasnt warmed up)

#3 130 psi
#4 130 psi

i added some oil to number 2 and retested multiple times. no change. also my battery was starting to...
first question is i have a 99 ranger 2wd 4cyl. i'm going to gues it has the ford 7.5inch rearend i just want to make sure though.
second question what is the stock gear ration?
