Tried the AFE intake on the 2011 again because I'm bored and waiting on Charles at Magnum Powers to finish working on my junk.
Results are hilariously bad.

Apparently the AFE intake produces "23% more powah" by changing the MAF housing size (larger housing) tricking the computer into adding more fuel. Butt dyno says less power, but what do I know.
If you have a tuner and wideband like I do, it may be worth putting on. It may not. I'm not going to bother re tuning the truck for it because I'm lazy.
The AFE intake also severely raises IAT, so if you're into that sort thing it's great for that as well.![]()
I used two fernco couplings and 10” of white 4” pvc to connect my intake to the stock air box and MAF.
I think it’s got like 40k miles on it.
