What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

Changed the oil.
Out: Valvoline R&P, Mobil 1 M1-209A filter.
In: Same.
For only the second time ever I didn't spill any oil on the street taking the filter off. Finally got the drain pan in the right spot.

The struggle is real. I've got several small oil spots in the driveway.

It took me a time or two but I got it figured out. Having to remove the little trough under the spout for the oil filter a couple of times really helped me get a clear idea where it drains to.

Going to help the kids move again, today.

New Motorcraft wipers from Rock Auto. The cheapo units from Walmart don’t last. Rock Auto only lists the 26” for Rangers but the part number is 2615 so I manually searched for 1615 and it worked to get a 16”.

I took the 2019 out to Frenchville for SAR training. It eneded up saving the day since no one else was prepared for bad weather and other than a charcoal grill, nothing to cook food on. Bacon and eggs on a grate is not exactly a good match. For a search and rescue team, not to mention most everyone being prior military and some of them even used to be Boy Scouts, it was kind of disappointing.

Anyway, while it was raining, everyone hungout under the 270 awning while I cooked breakfast. I got almost everyone's food done when the propane canister for the flat top gave out. So, out came the two burner dual fuel stove and the spun steel skillet to finsh the deal.

So, if I'm going to get lost, I should do it somewhere else?

They have their 3-day bags and group equipment for actual events. For whatever reason, they didn't think to bring them for training. Because, weather doesn't happen when there's training? And, equipment to cook food for the group was completely overlooked. Not to mention some sort of canopy for the group the be under if it rains.
