The $600 1988 Ranger project. A semi-serious race truck build.

Did some looking for electric fans yesterday. Mainly OEM stuff because they are crazy reliable. A 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee wiith a Hemi has a fan large enough to fit this radiator. The catch is that is a PWM brushless fan. At least I thought it was a catch until I discovered that the Terminator X can control a PWM electric fan.

Holley for the win. So glad I made that choice.

Made a couple of brackets and bolted the bumper back on. For no other reason than I keep bending that fill panel by leaning into it.

Been looking at intercoolers. I almost bought a no-name one but I ran across this one from On3 that has BOV flanges on the upper tank. That solves the BOV mounting problem before it becomes a problem. The best part is, it was on sale and is less expensive than the no-name version.

Size-wise, this intercooler will take up almost all of the space in the core support that is currently cut out. The plan is to mount the intercooler to the cut out section of core support so it can be somewhat easily removed should I need to pull the engine or swap cams or whatever.

I also snagged another Accel 300+ ignition box & coil to use in this truck. This is the same ignition that I am using in the 83GT.
