What's up guys. My '95 XLT Super has an open diff 8.8 and I'm considering completely redoing the drivetrain. Engine is either going to be a 302 or a 351 with gt40 heads. What I'm trying to figure out is if it would be easier to swap internals in the diff or if I should just go find an explorer...
is there anyway to tell if i have lockers in the front without taking it apart? when i have the hubs locked and in 4wheel and turning the front end jumps like crazy, its almost anoying. Is this something thats normal or is my front end locked or maybe something broke? Sorry if there is a place...

My 96 ranger diver door will not open. i recently repaired one of the three bolts that hold the locking mech. to the door. (the two top screws were gone. The only thing holding it on was one bolt on the bottom. So i put a replacement bolt in one of the top holes.)
