battery harness

no cranking, 2004 2.3l 5 speed
Had a problem when a cable from the main battery harness that extends under engine to a red two pin connector with wire off side (ground) was ripped off the side of engine. It looked fraid from manifold heat anyways, so I repaired that. It still did not crank. Doing alot of clicking. Batt good...- rayb2300

Wiring Issues
I was hoping to start the engine tonight but the battery harness is confusing me. I have the 1997 battery harness and I'm trying to splice it so it will plug into my 1998 ranger. I have the plug but my problem is that the wires aren't the same colors so I have no idea how to splice them...- Range98
