Ok found it . My lights never come on. Just 4x4 light don’t work, never on. Going to remove dash and find out what is wrong. So when you key on , your grounding dash for a second through something.- Gene/Kenneth

Date code on mine is 00293 Ford number 1L54-7h417-ac. Ok thanks, just wish I could see 4x4 lights on dash light up- Gene/Kenneth

I’m new to forum so hope this is right spot. Have a 2001 4x4 ranger. 4.0 auto. 4x4 not working at all. Just got pickup, no 4x4 lights on dash. Other lights work. Check fuses good. Remove connector from four wheel module and can hot wire yellow and orange wire and motor runs below. Scan tool...- Gene/Kenneth
